Here at TBAC, we pride ourselves in providing superior service to our clients. All of our Psychologists and Counselors have extensive training and experience. TBAC goes through a careful selection process of our providers and are all hand selected and the best in the field. Unlike many other practices, even our Registered Interns are highly experienced and skilled, holding a combined 40 years of experience alone. Likewise, our Psychologists and Counselors have combined 50 years of experience between them. Our staff regularly consults one another on treatment so you can rest assured, regardless of which provider you see at one of our offices, you have a team of professionals behind them that give guidance and care about you and your case. Lauren Roberts, LMHC Clinical Manager
Lauren enjoys working with adults, couples, and children ages two and older, along with providing parental support through a love and logic approach. Lauren received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a Doctoral student in the Counselor Education and Supervision program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Lauren works with a variety of issues including attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), reactive attachment disorder (RAD), adjustment disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, and couples counseling. Additionally, Lauren has experience with grief counseling having led support groups for children who experienced the significant death of a loved one and co-facilitated a support group for adults who experienced a death from suicide.
Lauren’s approach is trauma informed. She utilizes skills and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered therapy using a strength-based approach along with Mindfulness-Based Interventions. When working with children and teens, she utilizes play therapy skills and techniques into her sessions. Lauren wants to provide a safe environment for all ages to explore their past, who they are today, and where they want to be tomorrow.

Gabby Singer LCSW
Gabby is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who understands the courage it takes to reach out for help. As a therapist, she strives to provide a safe space for her clients that includes a non-judgmental environment, compassion, respect and trust.
Gabby is a two-time graduate of the University of South Florida, holding a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Criminology and a Master of Social Work degree. She has experience working with children five years and older, adolescents and adults with a variety of concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, personality disorders, interpersonal challenges, and behavioral issues. In addition to providing individual therapy, Gabby has experience facilitating group therapy sessions with adolescent and adult clients.
Gabby tailors her sessions to best fit the needs of her clients by taking a person-centered approach. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities to assist her clients in overcoming life's adversities, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy, psychoeducation and solution-focused therapy techniques.
Gabby has no doubt that every individual has the ability to make the change they wish to see within themselves and achieve the growth they deserve. She looks forward to motivating you to reach your therapeutic goals and help you along that journey.

Loraine Ventura, MA, Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern
Loraine is a bilingual (Spanish/English) Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern who is devoted to working with anyone from any age range or community. Her passion lies in helping others so that they can become the versions of themselves they aspire to be.
Loraine completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Hodges University. Before working on her Master’s, she graduated from the University of South Florida with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and then went on to obtain a Child Life Certificate from the University of California Santa Barbra Extension School. During her studies Loraine was a Child Care Worker and volunteered at John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital as a Child Life Volunteer. She worked closely with children, teens, and parents to ensure that the hospital experience was less traumatic for the entire family.
Loraine’s experience lies in working with children and teens at varying developmental stages and with numerous emotional distresses. She has worked with youth within the LGBTQIA+ community and dealing with diverse developmental disorders; such as Autism and certain intellectual abilities. She has also run a few teen group therapy sessions dealing with assorted behavioral concerns and disorders. In addition to working closely with children, she has also worked with adults at various ages and stages within their lives.
Loraine utilizes a person-centered approach and believes in utilizing numerous therapeutic techniques in order to cater to the individual’s needs accordingly. She has used play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and psychoeducation, along with several others. In the future, she would like to become certified in play therapy and become a Registered Play Therapist.
Loraine loves working with people and seeing them overcome their own obstacles in order to achieve their own personal levels of greatness. She strives to provide a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment for them along their journey.

Patrick Desir, PMHNP, TBAC Group Associate
Dr. Desir Patrick was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti but started his medical education at the “Autonomous University of Santo Domingo” where he earned his Doctorate in Medicine. He then went to Florida International University and Wilkes University to become Board Certified in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. Dr. Desir is one of the providers at Connection Behavioral Health, whose mission is to extend care access to individuals covered by government programs or less fortunate families. He enjoys his profession and wants to use his clinical experience to help people suffering from mental illness, and his devotion is to reduce the stigma around mental health in the Tampa Bay area. Carline Desir, DNP, PMHNP-BC, TBAC Group Associate
Dr. Desir is a very dedicated and compassionate provider. She has been working in the psychiatric mental health field for over 16 years providing mental health services to the most vulnerable populations in Miami-Dade and Pinellas County. Dr. Desir is a board certified psychiatric/mental health NP. She graduated with her Doctorate Degree in nursing practice at Wilkes University. Dr. Desir is very passionate about people with mental health needs and has always helped them and their loved ones achieve their goals through different psychotherapy and psychopharmacological approaches.
