An 8-Hour Marriage Intensive Using Proven Gottman Method Interventions
When weekly therapy isn’t enough, a focused intensive can create meaningful change.
If your relationship feels stuck in recurring arguments, emotional distance, unresolved hurt, or communication breakdowns, an intensive offers the opportunity to make significant progress in a single day.
This private 8-hour Marriage Intensive is designed for couples who want more than surface-level conversations. Using research-based Gottman Method strategies, we’ll identify the patterns keeping you disconnected and build practical tools to help you reconnect, communicate effectively, and strengthen your relationship.
Whether you’re navigating ongoing conflict, recovering from betrayal, preparing for a major life transition, or simply wanting to deepen your connection, this intensive provides focused, personalized support tailored to your unique relationship.
During your intensive, you will:
Comprehensive Assessment
We’ll begin with a focused assessment to understand your relationship strengths, challenges, and goals.
Customized Intervention Plan
Every intensive is tailored to your specific needs, concerns, and relationship history.
Structured Skill Building
Through guided exercises and evidence-based interventions, you’ll learn and practice new ways of communicating and connecting.
Action Plan for Success
You’ll leave with concrete tools and a personalized plan to continue building momentum after the intensive.
This intensive may be a good fit if you:
Connect with our Administrative Team who will put you in contact with Rena Davis, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for a Free Consultation. Rena will go over what to expect during the Intensive Day, will ask you questions about your relationship and answer any questions that you may have. Once you and Rena have decided that an Intensive is the right fit for you, our Administrative Team will reach back out to reserve your day and collect payment and signatures on required paperwork. Rena will directly send you and your partner in depth Gottman assessments to complete prior to your Intensive Day so that she is ready to dive in and work hard with you.
An 8-hour intensive provides the equivalent of months of traditional weekly sessions, allowing for deeper exploration, immediate skill practice, and meaningful progress without interruption.

About Me
Relationships can be one of the most meaningful parts of our lives — and also one of the most challenging. Even strong couples can find themselves stuck in cycles of miscommunication, disconnection, or unresolved conflict. My name is Rena, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist who genuinely enjoys working with couples to help them strengthen their relationship and reconnect.
I believe that healthy relationships are built on understanding, emotional safety, and intentional communication. Using Gottman Method–based couples therapy, I help partners move out of negative patterns and into greater trust, closeness, and teamwork.

Premarital and long-term relationship support
My work with couples is grounded in evidence-based Gottman techniques, which are designed to improve communication, reduce conflict, and build a strong foundation for lasting connection. I help couples understand their interaction patterns, develop practical tools they can use outside of sessions, and create shared goals for their relationship. I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and respect for both partners. Sessions are structured and purposeful, while still allowing space for vulnerability, reflection, and growth. I strive to create a balanced environment where each person feels heard and supported.
Couples often describe me as warm, supportive, and easy to talk to. I work to create a space where both partners feel safe expressing themselves, even during difficult conversations. While I take the work seriously, I also bring a calm and grounded presence that helps couples feel at ease and engaged in the process. Therapy with me is collaborative and focused on meaningful change. Together, we work toward improving communication, deepening emotional connection, and building a relationship that feels more secure and fulfilling.
I work best with couples who are motivated to better understand one another and are willing to invest in their relationship. If you’re looking for a therapist who is experienced, compassionate, and genuinely invested in helping couples thrive, I would be honored to work with you.
