“I cannot express how thankful I am of this place! I've been seeing Manny for talk therapy and Patrick for ART and it has been so life-changing. Both of them are incredibly kind, patient, empathetic, and just so sweet. They really do go out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible and are so non-judgmental. Everyone there has been very welcoming and accommodating. I can't recommend it enough.”
“Working with Lauren has changed my life. I was looking for someone understanding of trauma, who would safely guide me through this journey, but would also be honest with me. I have found all of that and more in therapy with Lauren. The entire office from the receptionist to the billing department have been incredibly kind and helpful. I would absolutely recommend!”
“Lauren Roberts is hands down the BEST therapist I have ever had. She understands and helps me every step of the way, at my own pace. It’s tricky finding a good therapist that you connect with, but not here! Cindy at the front desk always has a welcoming smile on her face. Thank you so much TBAC Group for all you do each and every day!”
“Holly Gardner MA LMHC has been a guiding light in my journey towards healing. She has created a safe and comfortable space where I can be my authentic self without any judgment. She tailors her techniques to fit my individual needs, helping me navigate my challenges and issues with practical tools that I can apply in real-life situations. She also brings a unique and wonderful approach to her practice by being a Certified Geek Therapist by using role-playing, fantasy and fandoms, into therapy sessions. I have been positively impacted by her guidance and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone on a journey of healing and self-discovery.”
“Manny Diaz helped me navigate a very rough patch in my life for more than a year. He was always professional, caring and supportive. I know that the relationship between patient and counsellor is highly personal and will differ by individual. Nevertheless, I give this group and Manny in particular the highest praise and recommendation I can.”
“Patrick was my therapist and he performed a type of therapy called ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) which after just one session, helped me get rid of trauma which had been with me for years. He's an awesome therapist and a great guy, would 100% recommend!”
“Elizabeth Lewerke! You’re a true inspiration and professional counselor. I’ve been seeing you since February and always feel so uplifted when I leave. The sessions really helps me start my week in a positive thinking way by using the useful forms! Thanks for doing all that you do.”
“I recommend this place 100% such great staff, Lauren is by far an amazing therapist. She is a very genuine and great listener and gives wonderful advice. She hears everything you have to say and helps you narrow situations down. She is also very very supportive with anything and just about everything that you have to say or want to do. This office deserves more then just five stars!
Elizabeth Lewerke, MA LMHC is an amazing therapist. I didn't believe in therapy before I started . I probably said very offensive things in my first session but she was great in helping me realize how the pain from my past affects the now. 10 months later I recommend therapy to anyone. I appreciate Elizabeth and TBAC for all their help in my recovery and improvement journey.”
“Elizabeth is a marriage saver. She’s very knowledgeable and compassionate. I wanted someone who would not take sides and tell us when one or the other was wrong and she didn’t disappoint. Very non-biased and respectful in her approach. I would highly recommend not only TBAC Group but Elizabeth specifically. Well worth your time!”
“My therapy experience here has been life changing, and more than I could have ever asked for. I have received the most compassionate and skilled treatment from everyone I have interacted with. I have felt safe, and the trust I have in Charisse is unmatchable! Through all the ups and downs with my mental health, I have had constant support. I can not recommend this team enough!”
“Manny was a kind, caring, and patient provider. He really listened to my issues to give the best care possible. Our sessions provided me with a new perspective on how to think about certain issues and scenarios that I was able to apply to different aspects of my life. I find myself being more cognizant about my thought process during my daily life as a result of our sessions and make more positive changes.”
“My son and I have been seeing Charisse for years now. She is truly a Blessing to our family! I've seen many therapists. Many of them just sit there and listen while i talk. Charisse doesn't do that. She listens but she talks to you, she asks questions and has truly helped me and my son correct our distorted perceptions of reality. I can say with conviction that Charisse has helped to save my life. I don't know where my son and i would be, where our relationship would be without her help. Thank you for everything Charisse. You really are an angel!”
“Lauren is a wonderful counselor! She is patient and caring and discusses effective strategies and tactics to deal with any issue. She has helped my daughter immensely!”
“Dr. Diaz is amazing! I’m forever grateful for her continuous guidance and insight into my anxiety. She has set up a comfortable environment that allows me to share what’s on my mind without judgement, and I always feel safe and heard during our sessions. I cannot recommend her enough!!! She has truly changed my life!”
“Dr. Diaz has literally saved my life. Changed my entire life around, my world view, and my thought process. She's challenging in just the right amount to nurture growth, and very comforting and supportive in helping me accept who I am. I would recommend her very highly if you feel anxiety, low self-esteem or fear. I didn't even realize how much fear I had masquerading as anger towards others. So much fear. But we're working through it. I also wanted to note for those considering what therapy is and is not, since I didn't know myself. Therapy is not someone just scolding you or telling you to do better. Therapy is someone who is on YOUR SIDE at all times! They're YOUR advocate. YOUR cheerleader. Dr. Diaz's job is to make you feel better, to sleep better, to be better, to feel cheerful, content, happy. And she does an incredible job of it. The changes are lasting and deep. I don't even recognize who I used to be before. I can't even imagine a person thinking or feeling that. It's been a long process and she's supported me every step of that way.”
“I'm very grateful to have Elizabeth as my therapist. She provides wonderful insight to my life and I look forward to our appointments. I would recommend this establishment for counseling needs.”
“Holly Gardner is the best! She has been a lifesaver with my mental health and helped me get to places I never thought I would be in my life. Everyone needs a Holly!”
“I sought help from Emanuel "Manny" Diaz at TBAC after a devastating medical diagnosis. He was key to my mental status as I received treatment for the condition, which is extremely important. Manny was warm and friendly, which made it easy to open up to him, and he gave the best suggestions/advice. I highly recommend TBAC.”
“My experience with Manny and TBAC has been amazing. Extremely satisfied. I can't recommend Manny enough for anyone struggling with anxiety. Forever grateful.”

“I am a real patient and these are my honest opinions. I highly recommend Patrick and ART therapy. As a former combat veteran, Patrick understands PTSD. He’s intelligent, compassionate, patient and one of the best in this field. His life’s mission is now to help others heal. I was a 911 dispatcher and needed someone who understood what it’s like being in the front lines. Sessions with him have been productive, educating and effective. I’m going to tell about one of the events I came to him seeking ART therapy for. I hope by sharing that someone reading this review may find it helpful on his or her quest to heal. I was involved in a car cash on a freeway involving a bicyclist riding his bike in the middle lane at night with no lights on, as I was driving over the top of a bridge… I didn’t see him until it was too late. As a disclaimer, it was not my fault (not that fact minimized the trauma) and he lived…although I’m still not sure how. After the crash, I stopped driving except to and from work. I could not stop the flashbacks of him flying over my windshield, the nightmares or the panic that immediately set in as soon as I got in a vehicle, even if I wasn’t driving. The images and entire event were so vivid and traumatic before I started ART. It’s still astounding to me how one session of ART with Patrick, yes – just one session, helped me reprocess that entire event to where it completely took the trauma out of the memory. I’m not going to lie, I was skeptical at first, the whole process seemed a bit cheesy. I forced myself to think of what did I have to loose and to remember how badly I wanted the nightmares and panic attacks to stop. Well after that one ART session, the trauma when recollecting that event is GONE. I still know the crash and events that occurred that night but without the trauma. That night after our session, I didn’t have a nightmare but instead a dream. In all of my years seeing a therapist, I have finally found what I feel like are the best kept secrets, Patrick and ART. Patrick, thank you for helping me reclaim my life. You have been a Godsend. If you are reading this review and are on a journey to heal and maybe heard about EMDR therapy, I would encourage you to consider ART therapy. Below is my understanding of EMDR and ART and a few ways they differ. Of course it’s just my understanding. Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Eye-Movement-Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy are both evidenced-based, effective treatments for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other trauma-related symptoms. ART is focused primarily on replacing disturbing images with positive ones, whereas EMDR aims to both desensitize client distress and reprocess traumatic events. Both treatments utilize eye movements to reprocess traumatic images, emotions, and body sensations. ART is a therapy utilizing a set number of 40 eye movements to treat trauma symptoms over a brief period of time: 1-5 one-hour sessions occurring within three weeks. ART was developed from EMDR so there are many similarities. Because it was developed as a rapid, time-limited treatment approach, ART can sometimes work more quickly than EMDR. A typical course of treatment with ART takes just 1-2 weeks and may be the better choice in cases when time is limited. ART has been shown to be an excellent choice for active duty military and veterans, due to its brief duration, lack of retelling or narrating traumatic events, and proven efficacy. My apologies for the long review, I wanted to share the impact ART has had on me. My only regret is not knowing about it sooner.”
